Martin Maguire, Technical Director/Coach
Martin grew up learning the game in many youth systems in England and representing his schools, colleges and county teams. He played semi-professional soccer in England and then he moved to the USA in 1999. He worked coaching club teams in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida for 3 years before moving to California. While in California he has coached Desert United Soccer Club teams for 3 years then moved to Los Gauchos Soccer Club in 2003. He would like to see players leave Los Gauchos Soccer Club with a great passion and knowledge of the game.
Martin Holds a FA Coaching License, USSF A License, and USSF National Youth License and began his coaching experience in England, with working FA Star Soccer Schemes and then joined Arsenal Football Club working with the youth training programs.

Nik Alsop, Coach
Nik Alsop began playing as a youth player with pro clubs West Bromwich Albion and Shrewsbury Town in England, before playing professionally with smaller clubs in the UK. He coached the youth players at pro clubs Birmingham City and Stoke City whilst in England and was Director for a Football Academy run through the Football Association.
Nik has 10 years experience working with club programs in California including 8 years with the Los Gauchos Soccer Club, assessor and Head Coach for the ODP Program GU15 & BU16 and working in a coaching capacity for the State organization. He currently holds a USSF B license, English FA coaching badge and is a USSF Y licensed instructor.

James Harrop, Coach
James Harrop played youth and college soccer in the UK. He attended Edge Hill University in England, where he first started coaching. He graduated with a Bsc Honors degree in Sports Science and Physiology in 2002 and also attained his UEFA B license, before heading over to the US. James lived and coached in DC for 5 years before making the move to California. During his time in DC he coached at Springfield YC in the National Capitol Soccer League (NCSL).
Since moving to Redlands in 2007 James has attained his USSF A license and wishes to continue his coaching eduction through International courses. James is a staff coach for Region 4 ODP but his focus is firmly on player development at club level. His ambition is to see every youth player he coaches develop a lasting passion, knowledge and understanding of soccer.
James lives and works in Redlands and in his spare time enjoys cycling, golfing, gardening & treasure hunting.

Liam Muirhead
Playing: Liam began playing as a youth player with pro clubs Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds united. He then played professionally with Doncaster Rovers before moving to Mansfield Town. Liam then came to California coaching for two summers before deciding to make the move permanent and he moved to Redlands. In February 2010, Liam signed for USL club Hollywood United.
Coaching: Liam worked for doncaster rovers as a soccer coach for the clubs academy. He then worked as a youth soccer coach for Leeds united as coach for the academy teams.
Liam's goal is to pass on his playing experience and the great coaching he has received through his career to the soccer players he coaches and would like to see them develop into great soccer players where he hopes they will play at a very high standard of soccer.
Liam holds an English FA level 2 coaching license.
