Team Tours and plays in England

This summer saw the club's 9th team embarked on an overseas soccer tour to England.  With our close relationship with UK International, the Los Gauchos Soccer Club has benefitted greatly from there overseas tour program they offer.

This years tour was the biggest yet with 17 players and 18 parents.  The tour was a good balance of both sightseeing and soccer.

The team was privileged to play some very high level, professional academy teams, Barnsley FC and Doncaster Rovers.  Plus some semi pro junior teams.  One of which, Altofts put together a full color game program with all the players names in, which was a superb friendly touch.  After each game the teams got to mix with the English 'lads' and chat about 'football'.

Gauchos Overseas teams tours to England
Over the past 8 years Los Gauchos has teamed up with UK International to provide a chance of a life-time for its teams to go on a soccer tour to England.

The overseas England tours are specifically designed by UK International to incorporate both sightseeing and soccer.  The tours last for 12 days and usually incorporate day trips to historical cities such as York, London, trips to the quaint little seaside (beach) towns and old Castles.

The teams play against top English opposition specifically chosen to match the Gauchos teams level.  In the past Gauchos teams have played against Ladies Premier League teams who have had English International players in the team.  The Gauchos boys teams have played against professional youth teams in the English Championship.

Parents and family are as much a part of the tour as the players.  With many teams bringing the whole family to experience a tour of a life-time.

Los Gauchos will continue to support every team within the club who want to go on tour overseas and would definitely recommend it.
